Troubleshooting

Fix installation, connector, credit and publication problems.

Work through these in order — most issues are connector or cache related.

Script verification fails

  1. Confirm the snippet is inside <head>, not in the body or a footer widget.
  2. Purge your platform cache and your CDN cache.
  3. Open the page in a private window and search the source for the Tuurbo script.
  4. Check that a consent or optimization tool is not blocking or deferring it.
  5. Re-run Verify.

No Search Console or GA4 data

  1. Check the connector status — reconnect if it says "needs attention".
  2. Confirm you selected the correct property (domain vs URL-prefix) and the correct GA4 stream.
  3. Remember Search Console lags 1–3 days.
  4. Compare the same date range and timezone before concluding the numbers are wrong.

Catalogue is empty or incomplete

  1. Verify the connector is connected with read permissions.
  2. Check the right store/shop is selected.
  3. Confirm the products are published, not drafts.
  4. Trigger a manual re-sync; large catalogues import in batches.

A generation job is stuck or failed

  1. Open the generation queue and read the per-item status.
  2. Check your credit balance — a job blocks before starting if credits are insufficient.
  3. Failed items are not charged; relaunch only those.
  4. If the platform rejected the write-back, check write permissions on the connector.

Changes are not visible on the site

  1. Confirm the change appears in the changes history with a new value.
  2. Purge platform cache, then CDN cache.
  3. If Performance is active, purge the Tuurbo edge cache too.
  4. Check that your theme is not hardcoding the field you optimized.

Automation applies nothing

  1. Re-read the trigger condition — if missing does nothing when values already exist.
  2. Check the scope: templates, product types, URL patterns.
  3. Verify the pages are not excluded in Crawl settings.
  4. Confirm the automation is not locked by plan or by a missing connector.

Scores dropped unexpectedly

  1. Compare with the previous audit to see which issues appeared.
  2. Look for a recent theme deploy or app installation.
  3. Check for new pages added in bulk without optimization.
  4. Re-run the audit to rule out a partial crawl.

Performance / DNS problems

  1. Verify the DNS records exactly match the ones shown in the component.
  2. Wait for propagation before judging the result.
  3. Confirm the SSL certificate has been issued.
  4. Exclude cart, checkout and account paths from caching.

Nothing above helped

Collect the website name, the affected URL, the time of the problem and a screenshot, then contact support — this cuts the round trips dramatically.

Note

Still stuck? Write to info@tuurbo.ai with the project URL and the exact time of the failed job so we can check the logs.
